Terry Wright (formerly known as Terry Button) has a lifetime of experience working with horses. Most notably, was the time she spent at the internationally respected Fulmer International School of Equitation founded by Robert Hall D.B.H.S..  Robert Hall was the 4 time British Dressage Team Olympic Coach and trainer to HRH Prince Charles. Terry started as a working student then moved up the ranks to senior instructor, where she trained directly with Robert Hall and gained much experience riding and training in Grand Prix work.

Terry emphasizes the importance of riding from a place of balance.  If the horse is ridden in an unbalanced way for an extended period of time it can lead to behavior problems and eventual unsoundness.

For those of you who know Carol Brett of BALANCE International, you might be interested to know that in 1988, Terry spent time as Carol’s instructor while they were both at Fulmer International in Aiken SC and this is how they met.
